Just like its name, the Bamboe Koening Restaurant is made entirely out of a yellow bamboo structure. It is beautifully designed and can fit up to 100 people, making it perfect for your next event or gathering. Right by the center of the building is an open stage that can be used for any art performance. Bamboe Koening is located right by the lobby and surrounded by a lush garden. Our chef created a well-curated menu consisting of extensive local Balinese and Indonesian cuisines, along with the various international menu. Try dining with us and it will be an amazing experience.
Our hotel guest can enjoy the breakfast, as well as the afternoon tea at our second restaurant located right by the poolside, named Tampak Siring Restaurant. It is named Tampak Siring because it has a gorgeous view of the rice paddy. The lush green view is so serene and relaxing. The restaurant offers delicious Indonesian menu, ranging from the traditional to the modern ones. We also serve our favorite Western and Asian menu that you can choose for Lunch or Dinner.
People visit Bali to learn more about its culture and to enjoy its arts. Luckily for you, 10 minutes away from Amatara Royal Ganesha, there’s a local museum dedicated for the work of a famous Balinese artist, Wayan Pendet. Museum Pendet is divided into two rooms that display the works of Wayan Pendet and his eldest son, Wayan Gunasta. You can enjoy these beautiful paintings and sculptures while learning about Bali, through the Kecak Dancers statues, or the Garuda sculptures. Be inspired by Bali and visit the museum.
When in Ubud, visiting Monkey Forest is on everybody’s list. If you are also in the mood to play with some monkeys, the sanctuary is only 11 minutes from Amatara Royal Ganesha. Schedule some time to explore it because it is 12.5 hectares surrounded by lush trees and home to 700 monkeys. These little fellas can be a bit silly, so make sure not to wear any hat, sunglasses or bring any snacks or they will steal it. Be mindful to your surroundings and enjoy some forest bathing moments that are known to reduce your stress level. It is always fun visiting the Monkey Forest.
Ubud is surrounded by amazing natural destination, and Amatara Royal Ganesha is the perfect starting point to explore them all. First stop is Tegenungan Waterfall, 15-minute drive away from the hotel. It used to be the local’s favorite spot to cool off. Nowadays, it’s a famous tourist attraction. To reach the waterfall, you have to climb down through lots of stairs. However, the path is surrounded by lush trees and various picture spot. Once you’re there, you will be greeted by a magnificent 15-meters waterfall that pours into a pond. This pond is perfect to relax and swim on a hot day. The water is clear and fresh. Nearby the waterfall you can find a sacred temple named Pura Beji Tirta Merta. There’s so much to see here.
Our garden path is ideal for those who love to jog, but if you want to try a morning jog like no other just come to Campuhan Ridge Walk. Set your alarm and drive 20 minutes to the spot. Campuhan is a green hill surrounded by soft grass and gorgeous trees and nestled amongst two rivers. The path is long and narrow, only 1.5 meters wide and 2 km long. The best time to visit the hill is early in the morning because, after your morning jog, you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise as you breathe in, out and relax.
